WHAT ARE THE PROJECT IMPROVEMENTS?

Proposed multimodal improvements include designated bicycle lanes and sidewalks and improved transit stops that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance standards. Roadway improvements south of 7th Ave. will include milling and resurfacing, curb and gutter and drainage facilities. North of 7th Ave., the roadway pavement will be reconstructed with the addition of curb and gutter and drainage facilities.

WHAT WILL THE TRAFFIC IMPACTS BE DURING CONSTRUCTION?

Traffic impacts during construction may include shoulder and single lane closures south of 7th Ave. North of 7th Ave., temporary lane closures, requiring two-way traffic control, are anticipated to reconstruct the roadway.

WHAT IS THE PROJECT COST AND HOW IS IT BEING FUNDED?

With an estimated cost of approximately $50,000,000, the project will be funded with local RTC fuel tax dollars.

WHAT UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS AND IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED?

Possible utility impacts, resulting from necessary drainage improvements, will be determined as the preliminary design progresses.
